i love traveling with my baby boy, he has so many funny jokes, i'm so glad he's with me but i don't want him to see me nervous or make mistakes on this trip. on the other hand i want him to see real life, going for your goals and learn how to ask people for help, directions and support when being out in the big world in big cities! ok fine, i will let him see me screw up, so he can see how i try to problem solve and fix it. no more pretending i'm perfect...he's too old for that now, i want him to see the real deal...but still keep it kid friendly at his level.
he did watch my azz sleep 5 hours on the plane and i know he was like is this chick honestly sleeping this long? he saw me at my weakest, my most fatigue, passed out. i needed to get it together for his sake and wake up, be alert for this journey! so i got to sleep 1000000 hours at our friend helen who we love! and nicole her friend is amazzzing, we're meeting new people all over! did i mention christy picked us up at the aiport?
so i have all the logistics figured out, that was really hard, putting everything together. but i'm good at that, i'm resourceful. and i'm logical.
